The Union enters this next strategic period 2024-2027 with an eye on our centenary – HSU turns 100 years old in November 2027 and we are ready to celebrate with a fantastic and impactful three years in the lead up to this date.

We celebrated student leadership by providing 951 Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught transcripts, along with 25 Postgraduate Research transcripts to recognize academic and leadership achievements.

Delivered inclusive and accessible democratic processes with student leadership at the core, resulting in a National Student Survey positivity score of 75% for student voice and representation.

Community Building & Student Connections
Created student-led opportunities for social connection and friendship building, leading to 75% of students reporting meaningful engagement with the Students' Union community.

Sustainability & Environmental Impact
Actively addressed the climate crisis through sustainable initiatives, with all staff contributing over 60 hours of volunteer work throughout the year towards creating a more sustainable campus environment.
